What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when everything is uncertain, one moment heaven... the next moment hell.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is 100%. You are not suited for a monogamous relationship.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

うどん

My lunch today is... うどん(Udon)
I was good mood to cook, so I add alot inside. (^-^)

Udon
This is my lunch today, うどん lah~

I bought udon noodle, but cooked soup myself. It is quite easy to make. Other than chicken, I put わかめ seaweed, and grated 山芋 yam. (This yam is different from the one you use for Chinese dessert, long and very sticky white color one.) Oh, and i put chili pepper, because I like SPICY.

*SOUP*
Boil water with a pan and add fish flake, cook for 2-3mins.
Add soy sause and mirin.
-- If you have 昆布 seaweed put it in water and remove it before water BOIL.

*CHICKEN*
Put cut chicken and mushroom (I used しめじ mushroom today) into a small bowl, pour one ladle scoop of soup add abit of soy sause and mirin to thicken the soup. cover it with wrap and use microwave to cook, it is ready after 2-3mins. :p
-- I add this soup I cooked for chicken to udon soup. It is more tasty with chicken. :)

Microwave is very very useful to cook. It took less time and easy!! Just put all the ingredients inside bowl, then after 3mins, it is DONE!! Hehe, lazy cooking. (^-^)

ね and よ

I received a comment about a particle so I explain a bit about two particles which are attached to the end of a sentence. My friend, SiJing once wrote about ね before in her blog, too. These two particles very important to explain our feeling. There are some more similar particles like よ or ね, such as ぜ, ぞ. I think ぜ is almost same as よ, but I cannot explain what is ぞ is... Anyway, ぜ and ぞ are not polite and used by GUY. I don't use them because I am girl, should use politer words. (^-^)

「よ」 and 「ね」 are attached to the end of a sentence. 「よ」 is used when the speaker provides the listener with information that s/he does not know about. 「ね」 is used for confirming whether the information or awareness of the speaker is the same as the listener's one. Or to show the speaker agrees with the listener, or is for asking for the assent of the listener.

【Example 1】A: このレストランの料理(りょうり)はおいしいですか。
Are the dishes in this restaurant good?
B: はい、おいしいですよ。
Yes, they are.
【Example 2】A: 新(あたら)しいコンピュータを使(つか)いましたか。
Did you use a new computer?
B: いいえ。
No.
A: 便利(べんり)ですよ。
It's handy.
【Example 3】A: もうすぐ、バスが出(で)ますよ。早(はや)く乗(の)りましょう。
The bus is leaving soon. Let's get on quickly.
B: はい。
Sure.
【Example 4】(レストランで)(At a restaurant)
A: サンドイッチとジュースをお願(ねが)いします。
A sandwich and a juice please?
B: サンドイッチとジュースですね。
A sandwich and a juice, right?
【Example 5】A: これは田中(たなか)さんのさいふですね。
This is Tanaka-san's wallet, right?
B: いいえ、違(ちが)いますよ。
No, it's not.
【Example 6】A: これは日本(にほん)の新聞(しんぶん)ですね。
This is a Japanese newspaper, isn't it?
B: いいえ、中国(ちゅうごく)の新聞(しんぶん)ですよ。
No, that's a Chinese newspaper.

お願いします - Please

[Today's Japanese Phrase!!]
Please...
お願いします(Onegaishimasu)

When you wanna ask someone to do something for you, you add お願いします as "please!!" or when someone offer you to help, you can say お願いします instead of saying ありがとう(arigato= Thank you).

お願いします is one of very useful Japanese expression. For example, when you wanna go somewhere by taxi, you tell the driver name of place you wanna go and say "お願いします" then the driver will send you to the place. When you wanna buy something, you just point at the thing you wanna buy and say, "これ(kore= this)、お願いします". While making a phone call and asking for a person, you can say "(peson's name)さんをお願いします". さん(san) is title such as Mr. or Ms. を(wo) is particle for object.

Musical Baton

SiJing passed me Musical Baton for me. Thank you for passing it to me. (^-^)
I also didn't know about it so I looked for some information on google, too. :p

* Total volume of music files on my computer
2.42 GB now. 700MB of them is Thai songs that BEAU gave me. 400MB of Chinese or Cantonese songs, 900MB of English songs and less than 400MB of Japanese songs. There are a few Korean songs, and I think there are some spanish or other language of dance music, too.
I just start listening to music using my PC. Especially, after I came back from Singapore, I bought cable to connect my PC to speakers of my CD player. So I can listen to much better sound now.

* Song playing right now
I am taking long time to write this, so I listened to some songs...
Let's see what am I listening?
瞳を閉じて(Hitomi wo tojite) - 平井堅(Hirai Ken)
ひとり(Hitori) - ゴスペラーズ(gospellers)
他还是不懂 - Boyz, Twins
and some dance music of JIVE and RUMBA.

* The last CD I bought
Eh... I don't remember... It is long time ago. I think the last one I bought is Sheryl Crow's album "C'mon C'mon", if I am not wrong. I don't have so much CDs. I think... less than 10 CDs I have. :P

* Five songs(tunes) I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me
Difficult to pick up 5...
A Whole New World - Disney's "Aladdin" theme song, origin of my nickname.
我不爱你 - Flora Chan, I am trying to sing this song, so I often listen to it.
長い間(Nagai aida) - Kiroro, I often sing this song in KARAOKE.
True Love - 藤井フミヤ, one guy gave me a music box with this song long time ago.
Happy Birthday To Me - Bulldog Mansion, give me energy and cheer me up.

* Five people to whom I'm passing the baton

John
ZiBin
Vern
Tyng
and...one more??
but I am not sure if vern and tyng can do this. They didn't update their blog for long time. Maybe they will join later when they come back from USA.

Rain season with no rain and crazy hot

The highest temperture today was 34 degrees. It is CRAZY hot but quite low humidity, only 49% in Fukuoka, according to Yahoo! Japan weather news. Even in Hokkaido, the northest part of Japan, it was more than 30 degrees last week...

June is rain season, called 梅雨(tsuyu) in Japan, rain during this period is very important for our water supply of whole year. So because of less rain in this year, it will be serious drought later. It already cause some trouble to farmer here in our region...

Internetholic here...

"gloomy", the new word I learnt just now. I was looking for this word in the dictionary for a few days ago, but couldn't find it. Why I was looking for "gloomy"... because I am. I wish for good luck for me and my friend who teach me the word, "gloomy"...
Anyway, messenger help me to improve my vocabulary... every time I see someone use the words I don't know or forgot its meaning, I look them into my dictionary. It is slower than learn from textbook, but more effective. I forget those words I learnt from textbook in a few seconds but I can memorize very well those words I learnt from my friends. :p

Just now I chat with Susanne a bit. I didn't see her online for long time. She said she is fine and started working for 3 weeks ago. And she asked me if I am always online or not, then I answered... you know my answer... "almost always" because I am internetholic. Well, it was nice talking to her tonight. (^-^)

Ah.. but... actually, I supposed to be too busy to CHAT... I didn't finish preparing for tomorrow meeting my "new" professor... I have no idea of what should I show him. Or, I have nothing to show him. :S

冷やし中華

My lunch today...
This is not so difficult to cook. :p
Just cook noodle and cut vegetables and.. oh, pork and egg need a bit of skill. Sause is... mixture of soup stock, soy sause, vinegar, suger and sesami oil.

冷やし中華
冷やし中華 - Cooled yellow noodle & vegetable, pork and egg with sweet and sour sesame sauce

This yellow noodle is a bit different from the one I ate in Singapore...
This is firmer than the one of Yung Tau Fu in NUS arts canteen :p
Because of the noodle, 中華麺 (Chinese noodle), this is called 冷やし中華, means cooled chinese. I think all Japanese noodles, うどん, そば and そうめん, don't contain egg... so yellow noodle for Japanese is Chinese noodle.

Ah.. This food is COOL so it is SUMMER food. Yes, we change food we eat depend on season. It is quite different from Singapore. Cooled noodle in summer, steamboat in winter is GREAT. Hum... but I experienced one-year-long summer, now I miss winter and winter foods... :p

BACK TO MY REALITY

Since I came back Japan, I didn't go to my LAB yet.
I didn't want to go there because my professor retired and all my friends graduated already in March... and I am afraid of writing my master paper... I am still not sure if I can finish writing my paper...

Any way, finally I went there today.
No...rather I BROUGHT there by my boyfriend.
He worried about me being NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training).
Because I dun wanna go to lab, dun wanna job hunting, just stay in my room and using my PC. :p

OK, I could go to my lab. Should appriciate to my BF. :p
I talked to my new professor a bit...
He told me to presentate about my reserch on 8th of July. and he asked me to show him everything i have on 27th June to prepare for the presentation... only 2 weeks.
It is impossible... I almost forget about my study in Japan. :p
How can I prepare for the presentation...
Maybe I have to prepare for myself to be nagged by my teacher and seniors... :p

I had very good time in Singapore.
But those days are gone.
